Alwaght- A Saudi court orders a royal family member to be given lashes in a prison in Jeddah, the Saudi Okkaz newspaper reported on Wednesday.
The report gives no details on the offences he committed but says the prince was also sentenced to serve a prison term.
The flogging was carried out by a policeman on Monday after medical checks to ensure the prince was healthy, the paper added.
This is the second sentence issued against a member of Saudi royal family this month. Earlier this month another prince was sentenced to death for killing a man during a fight near capital Riyadh.
The Saudi prince was executed on Oct. 19 after a court found him guilty of shooting dead a fellow Saudi, official media reported, in what Saudis said was the first execution of a prince since the 1970s.
Prince Turki bin Saud al-Kabir had pleaded guilty to shooting Adel al-Mohaimeed after a brawl, the ministry of interior said.
