Saudi Warplanes Destroy Fresh Water Dam in Yemen

Saudi Warplanes Destroy Fresh Water Dam in Yemen

Alwaght- The Saudi regime has continued its atrocities in Yemen by targeting a fresh water dam which provides a lifeline to civilians in Sana'a, the capital of the war-torn country.
According to Yemeni news agency, Saba, Saudi warplanes totally destroyed a reservoir in al-Nahdin district in the Yemeni capital Sana'a on Sunday evening.
The crucial reservoir, which supplied water to at least 30,000 people in the densely populated area, could store up to 5,000 cubic meters of water and had cost Yemenis $4 million.
Meanwhile the Yemeni army and popular committees repulsed the invasion forces and mercenaries creeping towards the boundary Midi district, a military official said Sunday.

Despite, invaders and their mercenaries having massive support in the air, land and sea, the army and committees managed to break the creeping, killing and injuring tens of them, the official explained.

He pointed out that specialized units of the army and committees destroyed three Saudi military vehicles during the operation.
At least 8,350 people, mostly civilians, have been killed and over 16,000 others injured since the Saudi regime launched a brutal war on Yemen late March 2015. The Saudi war has also taken a heavy toll on Yemen’s infrastructure with schools, hospitals, mosques, bridges, factories and water reservoirs being targeted indiscriminately.
Yemenis have been carrying out retaliatory attacks on the Saudi forces deployed in the country as well as targets inside Saudi Arabia.
Yemenis have also condemned the shameful silence of the international community especially the United Nations in the face of the ongoing Saudi crimes and atrocities against the Yemeni people.
