ALWAGHT- No military facilities belonging to the Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC) in Tehran have been targeted, despite reports of explosions heard in the city.
Sources reported that no IRGC military facilities in the west or south of Tehran have been targeted.
Early on Saturday, several explosions were reportedly heard in the city, particularly west of Tehran. These sounds were associated with Iranian Army air defenses engaging an Israeli military operation at three locations around Tehran.
Meanwhile, conditions in the capital remain normal, including at Imam Khomeini (RA) and Mehrabad airports. Saeed Chalandari, CEO of Imam Khomeini International Airport (IKIA), stated that the airport is stable with no security incidents reported. He added that flights began departing as scheduled at 5:30 AM local time, with no cancellations. Officials at Mehrabad Airport also confirmed there have been no flight disruptions.
