ALWAGHT- Yemeni armed forces have targeted a strategic site in the Israeli-occupied territories with a missile, expressing solidarity with Palestinians in Gaza amid Tel Aviv's ongoing violent military campaign against the besieged enclave.
Hebrew-language media, citing an Israeli military statement, claimed that the missile launched on Saturday morning was intercepted and destroyed before reaching the occupied territories. Since Israel's devastating war on Gaza began on October 7, 2023, following Operation Al-Aqsa Storm by Palestinian resistance movements, Yemen has expressed open support for Palestine’s fight against Israeli occupation.
Yemeni armed forces have vowed to continue their attacks until Israel’s ground and aerial assaults on Gaza cease.
To date, Israel's military actions have resulted in the deaths of at least 44,612 Palestinians, mostly women and children, and injured 105,834 others in Gaza.
Yemen's Ansarullah resistance movement has stated that it targets ships connected to Israel, the United States, or the United Kingdom in an effort to end Israel's genocidal campaign on Gaza.
