ALWAGHT- Despite stringent censorship imposed by officials of the Israeli regime on the release of accurate casualty figures from different fronts of the ongoing conflict, several Israeli media outlets have reported that 80 Zionist soldiers and settlers have died since the start of October.
A report from Aka News 48 on Wednesday reveals that official casualty figures from the Israeli regime, related to the ongoing conflict and actions by Palestinian and Lebanese fighters, indicate that 80 Israeli soldiers and settlers have been killed this month.
The statistics show that 46 of these fatalities resulted from heavy strikes by Hezbollah deep within the occupied territories. In the Gaza Strip, Palestinian fighters killed 20 Israeli military personnel, while 11 Israeli occupiers were killed by Palestinian fighters and citizens in the occupied territories of 1948. Additionally, two Israelis were reported killed due to attacks by the Islamic Resistance in Iraq, with another fatality bringing the total to 80.
The Yemeni resistance has also been targeting Israeli positions with missile and drone strikes almost daily, but the Tel Aviv regime has not released casualty figures from this front for October due to stringent censorship.
Several Israeli media outlets have acknowledged this censorship, noting that the military is controlling information about deaths and injuries because of the high number of military casualties and concerns about public reaction in the occupied territories.
Previous reports indicated significant discrepancies between injury figures reported by the Israeli military and those from hospitals in the occupied areas. For example, Channel 12 reported that the military requested hospital officials not to disclose casualty figures without prior coordination.
