ALWAGHT- President Masoud Pezeshkian condemns Israel's pager detonations in Lebanon, calling them a disgrace for the regime's Western supporters, particularly the United States.
Iranian President criticized Israel's Western supporters for abandoning moral principles in pursuit of their inhumane agenda.
During a Cabinet meeting in Tehran on Wednesday, Pezeshkian remarked that the September 17 pager explosions serve as further evidence of the West's moral decline and unwillingness to seek a ceasefire in Gaza.
'The use of tools designed to enhance human welfare as instruments of terror and destruction against those with differing views is a clear indication of the collapse of humanity and the rise of savagery and criminality,' he said.
He added, 'This incident once again proves that despite their claims of wanting a ceasefire, Western nations and the United States offer full backing to blind acts of violence, killings, and assassinations.'
The Iranian president called on Muslim nations to unite and put an end to the ongoing Israeli massacres.
"The remedy for this situation and the key to ending the cycle of oppression and crimes committed by the Zionist regime and its supporters against the oppressed Palestinians and the Muslim world is the unity and solidarity of Muslims and Islamic nations," he stated.
The detonation of thousands of pagers, commonly used by resistance groups and public service workers, resulted in at least a dozen deaths and around 3,000 injuries.
The Lebanese government has held Israel responsible and pledged to file a formal complaint with the United Nations over the attack.
Hezbollah has vowed that the Israeli regime will face 'just punishment' for its actions."
