Iranian President Set to Attend UN General Assembly

ALWAGHT- Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian is scheduled to depart from Tehran for New York on Sunday, September 22, to participate in the 79th session of the United Nations General Assembly.

President Masoud Pezeshkian is set to deliver a speech at the 79th session of the UN General Assembly (UNGA) and hold multiple meetings with foreign officials on the sidelines of the event.

Pezeshkian's address to the UNGA is scheduled for Tuesday, September 24.

In addition, he will meet with Iranian expatriates in the US, leaders of various faiths, media executives, and members of American think tanks.

The president is also slated to speak at the "Summit of the Future," an event focused on building new consensus to address the needs of current and future generations.
