ALWAGHT- The Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson rejected claims by the European Union's high representative that Tehran has sold missiles to Moscow for use in the Ukraine conflict.
On Friday, Nasser Kanaani strongly criticized a statement from the European Union's high representative accusing Iran of involvement in the Ukraine war.
Kanaani reaffirmed Iran's position, declaring that claims of Iran supplying ballistic missiles to Russia are completely false, according to the Foreign Ministry’s website.
He cautioned against maintaining destructive attitudes and statements, advising the EU to avoid making allegations based on incorrect information.
Kanaani also highlighted the Western reliance on outdated sanctions, stating, "Unfortunately, some Western countries are addicted to imposing sanctions, a tactic that will not only fail to resolve issues but will also contribute to the problem and provoke a response from Iran."
Iranian officials have consistently clarified that the country has not been involved in the military conflict between Russia and Ukraine and opposes war.
