ALWAGHT- The funeral for Ismail Haniyeh, head of the political bureau of the Hamas resistance movement, will be conducted in Tehran.
The funeral service for Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh is set to take place in Tehran, likely on Thursday, August 1.
Haniyeh, who was in Tehran for the swearing-in ceremony of Iran's new president, was killed early on Wednesday, July 31, when an aerial projectile struck a special residence in northern Tehran.
The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) has announced that the attack is under investigation, with results to be released later.
The Iranian Foreign Ministry stated that Haniyeh's sacrifice will not be in vain and will further solidify the strong and unbreakable ties between Iran and Palestine.
