Alwaght- Hamas Political Bureau chief Ismail Haniyeh has arrived in Tehran and is set to meet Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian.
The two over the past few days have talked several times over the phone.
The visit comes a day after a resolution calling for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza was passed by the UN Security Council.
This is the second visit the top Hamas official is making to Tehran since October 7.
The visit appears to focus on further coordinations as the Israeli regime is now under heavier pressure to end its genocidal war on Gaza after the resolution.
He is also expected to update the allied Iran on efforts for ceasefire made by Qatar.
