Alwaght- Syrian Army has managed to fully liberate Yarmouk Basin from ISIS terrorists al-Manar TV reported on Tuesday.
The southwestern basin, where was condoled by some 1,500 terrorists belonging to the ISIS-affiliated Jaysh Khaled bin Walid group, borders Jordan and Israeli-occupied Palestinian territories.
Yarmouk Basin had been the last embattled pocket of the southwest after an advance by President Bashar Assad’s forces into the longtime militant stronghold.
The army seized the main ISIS redoubt in the town of Shajara on Monday, which left just a few villages in the hands of ISIS-affiliated faction.
Completing the recovery of the southwest would leave terrorists largely confined to a stretch of territory in the northwest.
