Alwaght- Intelligence forces of the Iraqi national army discovered an ISIS media center used by terrorists to transmit information and broadcast propaganda.
The media center was located south of the northern city of Mosul, a high ranking Iraqi security official said when describing the latest situation on the operation to liberate the city.
Commander of Federal Police Forces Lieutenant General Raed Shaker Jawdat told Arabic-language All Iraq News on Sunday that Iraqi forces made the discovery in the town of Hammam al-Alil, situated about 30 kilometers south of Mosul, on Sunday.
Jawdat added that Iraqi security forces recovered a number of state-of-the-art cameras, dozens of video files, a considerable amount of money and numerous confidential documents from the site.
Iraqi army supported by volunteer fighters and Kurdish Peshmerga launched an operation in October to liberate Mosul from ISIS as the last stronghold of the terrorists in the country.
Meanwhile the forces managed to liberate three more villages in the northern province of Salahuddin including the village of Sahl al-Madhif on the eastern outskirts of Shirqat town.
Later in the day, the same forces retook the villages of al-Jadida and al-Nahiyah al-Kabirah.
