Alwaght- Syrian army defeated foreign backed terrorist groups in different parts of the country.
The army attacked terrorist positions in Tal Sawwan in the western province of Homs on Wednesday in a bid to retake the strategic al-Sha'er Mountains.
Army forces killed a large number of terrorists and many more fled their positions, Syrian government said. They also destroyed a training camp for the Jabhat Fateh al-Sham militant group.
Other units of the Syrian army attacked terrorists in the towns of Talbiseh, al-Rastan, Um Sharshouh and al-Ghantoo in Dara'a where unspecified number of terrorists were killed.
Syrian troops also launched an offensive in the Da'el town, located approximately 14 kilometers north of Dara’a, killing a number of terrorists and destroying their vehicles.
Moreover, militant positions in the villages of Khan Tuman, Maarata, Kafr Hamrah, Haritan and Babis in the northwestern province of Aleppo were targeted by Syrian jets, scores of terrorists were killed.
Syrian army is fighting foreign backed terrorism since March 2011 when they initiated attacks to topple the central government.
