Al-Saud After Appointing Another Puppet Regime in Yemen

Alwaght- After resigning Abd Rabbuh Mansur Hadi's government as the result of Yemeni people's second revolution, holding presidential election is probable. Saudi did its best to save Hadi's regime, the same as Ali Abdullah Saleh's regime; because both of them were dependent on al-Saud and were following their policies. Therefore, Saudi regime spared no effort to support these regimes, but resistance of Yemeni people defeated them. Ansarullah was the Leader of Yemen's second revolution. Ansarullah led by Mohammad Abdul Malek al-Houthi is a Zaydi Shiite movement. On the other hand, Saudi regime is Wahhabi, an extremist Sunni sect, is arch-foe of Shiite. Al-Saud fears that Ansarullah take the power in Yemen that will threaten their interests in Yemen and in the region.      

Although disappointed with the ouster of its puppet regime, Saudi regime has new plans to retain its influence in Yemen. Presidential election will be hold in Yemen sooner or later, therefore, al-Saud intends to appoint another obedient president in Yemen. Saudi's, reportedly, are supporting Abdullah Saleh's son to nominate for the presidential bid. He has resigned from his post to return to Yemen. He was Yemen's' ambassador to UAE.
