Iran and India to Conduct Joint Naval Exercise in the Persian Gulf

ALWAGHT- An Indian naval fleet has docked at Iran's southern port city of Bandar Abbas to participate in a joint exercise with the Iranian Navy in the waters of the Persian Gulf.

The Indian Navy’s "peace and friendship" fleet, consisting of three destroyers led by Captain Anshul Kishore, has arrived in Iran's port city of Bandar Abbas.

According to Iranian Navy officer Captain Masoud Beigi, the two nations' naval forces will conduct a joint exercise in the northern waters of the Hormuz Strait.

Beigi also mentioned that during their four-day stay, the Indian naval personnel will visit cultural and recreational sites in Bandar Abbas.

He emphasized that such visits play a key role in enhancing the friendly relations between the navies of Iran and India.
