ALWAGHT- Iran's Ministry of Foreign Affairs cautioned the Zionist regime and the US that they will have to confront the consequences of their terrorist actions, including the assassination of Hezbollah leader Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah.
On Sunday, the Iranian Foreign Ministry released a statement regarding the martyrdom of Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah in an Israeli strike in Beirut. The statement opened with a quote from the Quran, emphasizing the eternal life of martyrs in the service of Allah. It praised Nasrallah as a descendant of true leaders in the struggle for Allah, dedicating his life to fighting against the enemies of Islam and supporting the oppressed in Lebanon and Palestine.
The statement highlighted Nasrallah’s leadership and bravery, comparing him to other prominent resistance figures, such as Martyr Seyyed Abbas Mousavi. It noted that his wisdom and courage significantly impacted the resistance movement, leading to notable victories against the Zionist regime, including its retreat from southern Lebanon and failures in various conflicts. Nasrallah’s contributions revitalized the resistance against Zionism and provided inspiration for Muslims worldwide.
The Iranian Foreign Ministry condemned the Israeli regime's actions, calling them war crimes and asserting that the US bears responsibility as a supporter of Israel's actions. It warned that there would be repercussions for the Israeli regime and its allies, particularly the US, for the assassination of Nasrallah.
Furthermore, the Ministry reaffirmed Iran's unwavering support for the resistance in Palestine and Lebanon, promising to leverage all diplomatic and political avenues to support these causes. It expressed condolences for Nasrallah’s martyrdom to various leaders and the Islamic community, asserting that the resistance movement would remain strong and committed to its goals, undeterred by the loss of its leaders.
