ALWAGHT- The Islamic Republic's advances in defense have strengthened its deterrent capabilities, ensuring that no enemy can encroach upon its territory.
In 1989, the Ministry of Defense and the Revolutionary Guards were merged to create the Ministry of Defense and Armed Forces Logistics (MODAFL).
Today is recognized as National Defense Industry Day on Iran’s official calendar.
In celebration, Iran’s Ministry of Defense and Armed Forces Logistics released a statement on Tuesday, highlighting the Ministry's critical role in manufacturing defense products and countering severe sanctions imposed by adversaries.
The MODAFL described the country’s defense sector as a source of national pride and a key deterrent.
He stated that no one would dare to invade Iranian territory, noting that the ground forces of both the army and the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps are not only well-armed but also capable of exporting weapons.
As part of its defense initiatives, the Islamic Republic of Iran Army introduced an advanced electronic warfare center in the eastern part of the country in early August.
The inauguration ceremony of the center, named "Jangaal" in Farsi, was attended by a group of high-ranking military officials. The term "Jangaal" combines two Persian words meaning electronic warfare.
During a 2023 meeting with senior military commanders, Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei urged the Iranian Armed Forces to continually improve their readiness across all domains and to persist in advancing their capabilities, as the threats from adversaries will never diminish.
Ayatollah Khamenei, the commander-in-chief of the Iranian Armed Forces, emphasized that military readiness serves as a deterrent against adversaries, urging constant vigilance against those orchestrating threats.
High-ranking military officials in the Islamic Republic have frequently underscored the country’s self-sufficiency in producing military equipment, including drones, noting that many nations are interested in acquiring Iranian defense products.
