Biden’s blind support for Netanyahu

Tuesday 4 June 2024
Biden’s blind support for Netanyahu

ALWAGHT- In an interview with the American magazine "Time", today (Tuesday), President Joe Biden expressed uncertainty regarding whether "Israel" has committed war crimes in Gaza, noting that Netanyahu is facing significant pressure as a result.

He further stated, "Benjamin Netanyahu, the Prime Minister of "Israel," faces immense pressure from hostage families and is prepared to take all necessary actions to secure their release."

Biden, firmly backing Netanyahu, asserted that "Israeli demands for a ceasefire to repatriate the hostages to their residences are resolute and have presented an exceedingly generous proposal for a Gaza ceasefire, which the US government will actively pursue to ensure the detainees' return."

He then criticized Hamas for not agreeing to this "deal."

Regarding the question of whether Israeli forces have committed war crimes in Gaza, Biden responded, "There's no conclusive evidence, though Palestinians have suffered greatly due to shortages of food, water, and medicine, and many innocent people have been killed. However, I don't believe that "Israel" intentionally targets civilians with starvation and hunger as weapons of war."

Emphasizing the importance of implementing a two-state solution, the President of America remarked that it's a major point of disagreement between himself and Netanyahu. He noted that certain Arab countries have proposed involvement in restoring security and rebuilding Gaza in return for a commitment to the two-state solution.

In response to whether Netanyahu prolongs the war for political motives, he replied, "There are various reasons that may lead people worldwide to such a conclusion."

However, Biden’s support for the Zionist regime is considered immoral by the global community.
