Alwaght- Lebanese Hezbollah said it carried out fresh drone and rocket attacks on Israeli forces in the northern occupied territories on Friday.
The attacks targeted soldiers in “Maian Baruch” region and a number of them were killed and injured, according to Al-Mayadeen news network.
The Lebanese resistance movement has recently been escalating its attacks on the Israeli positions as Tel Aviv began to target civil positions and vehicles in the south.
Hezbollah chief in mid-February warned about Israeli escalation, saying that in case of a full-scale war, Israel should expect 2 million of displaced civilians.
In response to killing of a number of civilians in Nabatiyeh neighborhood, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah said Israel will pay the price “in blood.”
On Friday, the Lebanon’s Foreign Minister Abdullah Bou Habib warned Israel that any war with Lebanon will not be a “picnic”, adding that Beirut is ready for war if the Israeli leaders choose it.
