Alwaght- Fighters defected from the so-called Free Syrian Army (FSA) militant group are now fighting alongside Syrian Army against ISIS terrorist group's allies in the Daraa Governorate.
The defectors from Free Syrian Army’s Shabab Al-Sunnah Brigade are currently taking part in Army’s ongoing offensive against the ISIS-affiliated Jaysh Khaled bin Walid terrorists in the Yarmouk Basin region, Almasdar News reported.
According to a Syrian military report, over 500 defectors are now fighting alongside the government forces after settling their cases in the Daraa Governorate.
The defectors were given the option to serve alongside the Syrian Arab Army in order to settle their cases and remain in the Daraa and Al-Quneitra governorates.
