Alwaght- Israeli Regime demolished an Italian built school in southeast of Nablus as well as 40 other structures during last week at the pretext of unlicensed construction.
The national bureau for defending the land and resisting settlement reported that Israeli regime has recently escalated the demolition policy it pursues against Palestinian homes and property in the West Bank and occupied al-Quds (Jerusalem), according to Palinfo web site.
Most of the recent demolitions have taken place in Area C, which is controlled by Israeli regime under the Oslo agreement. The residents in Area C of the West Bank are exposed to systematic ethnic cleansing, which seeks to carry out settlement projects on Palestinian lands, the bureau said.
In the Jordan Valley, Tel Aviv Regime appropriated last year more than 600 acres of Palestinian-owned land for the benefit of its settlement activities, according to the report.
The Oslo II Accord divided the West Bank into three administrative divisions: the Areas A, B and C. The distinct areas were given a different status.
The Areas A and B were chosen in such a way as to just contain Palestinians, by drawing lines around Palestinian population centers at the time the Agreement was signed; all areas surrounding the Areas A and B were defined as Area C.
