ALWAGHT- On Friday, Rafael Grossi, the Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency, visited two uranium enrichment facilities in Iran.
During his visit to Tehran, UN nuclear chief Rafael Grossi held separate meetings on Thursday with Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian, Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi, and Mohammad Eslami, Head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI).
On Friday, Grossi visited two uranium enrichment facilities in Fordow and Natanz.
He was accompanied by Massimo Aparo, IAEA Deputy Director General and Head of the Department of Safeguards, AEOI Deputy Behrouz Kamalvandi, and Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Kazem Gharibabadi.
Speaking on Thursday, Grossi noted that his visits to the Fordow and Natanz sites were highly significant, as they would provide him with a comprehensive understanding of the development of Iran’s nuclear program.
