ALWAGHT- The Lebanese resistance group Hezbollah has launched rocket attacks on four Israeli settlements and a military base in northern occupied Palestine.
In statements made early Monday, Hezbollah announced that it targeted the Ayelet HaShahar settlement with a barrage of rockets. The Islamic Resistance fighters also launched rockets at the settlements of Sha’al, Hatzor, and Dalton. Additionally, the group reported that it struck Israel's aerial surveillance unit at the Meron base with a rocket barrage.
Hezbollah indicated that these operations were carried out in solidarity with the Palestinian people in Gaza and to defend Lebanon and its citizens. The Israeli regime has escalated its attacks in Lebanon in recent weeks, leading to stronger responses from Lebanese resistance fighters.
Since October 8 of last year, Hezbollah and Israel have exchanged deadly fire, following the start of the Israeli military campaign against Gaza.
