ALWAGHT- Hebrew sources reported that contrary to previous beliefs, the leader of Hamas in Gaza is not located in Rafah, situated in southern Gaza.
Informed sources within the Zionist community, as reported by the "Times of Israel" newspaper on Friday, stated that Yahya Sinwar, the leader of Hamas in Gaza, is not located in Rafah. These sources acknowledged a lack of precise information regarding Sinwar's whereabouts.
According to recent intelligence assessments from the Zionist regime, Sinwar is believed to be situated in underground tunnels in the Khan Yunis area, approximately 8 kilometers north of Rafah. The Israeli military withdrew from Khan Yunis about a month ago and initiated an offensive on Rafah several days prior.
The regime's objective in the Gaza offensive has been stated as the capture or martyrdom of Sinwar and his deputy, Mohammed Deif. In March of the previous year, the regime's military announced the killing of Marwan Issa, Hamas's third-ranking official in Gaza, in an airstrike. Despite repeated assertions, the Israeli military has not succeeded in capturing Sinwar or Deif, as indicated in this report.
