ALWAGHT- Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi reaffirmed Tehran's right to take retaliatory action in response to the recent aggression by the Israeli regime, which resulted in the deaths of four Iranian servicemen.
“We strongly condemn the criminal attack on Iranian military facilities as a violation of international law and the UN Charter,” Araqchi stated in a post on his X account on Saturday.
He remarked, “Four of our Army heroes lost their lives in the face of this reckless and cowardly assault.”
Araqchi emphasized, “We fully reserve our right to respond appropriately to this aggression, which is closely linked to Israel's genocide in Gaza and the violence in Lebanon. The world must come together against this common threat to international peace and security.”
On Saturday, the Iranian Army reported that four of its personnel were martyred while confronting projectiles fired by the Israeli regime. The Iranian Air Defense also issued a statement indicating that the illegitimate Israeli regime had launched attacks on military sites in Tehran, Khuzestan, and Ilam provinces in the early hours of October 26, escalating tensions. It confirmed that Iran's air defenses intercepted the aggression successfully, although some limited damage occurred in certain areas.
