President Confirms No Iranian Ballistic Missiles Have Been Supplied to Russia

ALWAGHT- President Masoud Pezeshkian emphasized that Iran has never provided ballistic missiles to Russia.

During a meeting with European Council President Charles Michel in New York on Monday, President Masoud Pezeshkian reiterated that Iran has never supplied Russia with ballistic missiles.

Pezeshkian stressed that Iran's primary objective is the cessation of military conflicts between Russia and Ukraine, emphasizing the country's commitment to peace.

Addressing concerns about Iran’s nuclear program, Pezeshkian reaffirmed Tehran’s willingness to resolve the issue, noting that Iran is open to negotiations and efforts to find a solution.

"Iran has never pursued nuclear weapons and remains committed to supporting any initiative aimed at fostering peace and security in the region and worldwide," the president declared.

In response, Michel stated that the European Union expects Iran to play a constructive role in issues related to its nuclear program, the situation in Palestine, and the conflict in Ukraine. He also emphasized that the EU remains open to cooperation and dialogue to find joint solutions, expressing hope for continued talks between Iran and the EU.
