Differences Arise Between Saudi Crown Prince, Successor

Differences Arise Between Saudi Crown Prince, Successor

Alwaght - Saudi Arabia's defense minister is making attempts to get hold of special funds of the Saudi Interior Ministry for combating terrorism, and gain the possession of the fund.

Al-Watan News agency reported that Mujtahid, a famous twitter writer, known for revealing the secrets of the Saudi royal family, in his new article revealed that Saudi Arabia's Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, deputy defense minister of the country is making attempts to take hold of the clause for combating terrorism and its specific funds from the Saudi crown prince Mohammad bin Nayef, Saudi Arabia's Interior Minister, and get the budget for himself.

Mujtahid says, from 10 years ago the issue of fighting terrorism which is in the hands of  the Crown Prince Mohammad bin Nayef, Saudi Arabia's Interior Minister, has had a special budget of secret operations, this budget is quite remarkable and no one can question Mohammad bin Nayef in this regard, or where and how he spends the budget.

Secret budgeting of combating terrorism is apart from annual budget allocated for the whole country. According to the reports, Saudi Interior Ministry, has got a secret budget of 50 million Saudi riyals devoted to domestic issues, 10 million$ USD have been allocated to areas far from Saudi Arabia.

He added that the budget allocated for overseas operations, is 87 million and 500 thousand Saudi riyals, i.e., an annual budget of 32 billion Saudi riyals, which is totally in the hands of Mohammad bin Nayef, and he has absolute right to spend the money where he wishes, and nobody can interrogate him about the budget.

Mujtahid also disclosed that funds allocated for counter-terrorism department of the Interior Ministry of Saudi Arabia is the same as the budget of  the Saudi royal family of Kingdom of Saudi Arabia; it is very special and nobody can ask for any explanation or information on how the money was spent.

He went on to say that: due to the fact that the Saudi Interior Ministry itself has determined a clear and concise budget to fight the enemies of the regime, the budget is quite adequate. Thus, Mohammad bin Nayef practically spends only a small part of this special budget and keeps the rest for himself.

He added that if the budget was spent for about 10 years, now we can surely state that bin Nayef has saved tens of billions or perhaps hundreds of billions over the last 10 years, so we may conclude that Mohammad bin Salman seeks to get his hands on it.

Accordingly, Mujtahid has predicted that soon Mohammad bin Salman, would oblige his father, the King Salman bin Abdulaziz, to assign him the special files related to the fight against terrorism and also let him take hold of the budget for the counter- terrorism plans, especially fights against the ISIS terrorist group. If bin Nayef opposes to the idea, he could only hit his head against the wall.
