Iran’s Newly Elected President Cautions Israel Against Attacking Lebanon

ALWAGHT- Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian warned the Israeli regime that any new act of aggression against Lebanon would bring severe repercussions for Zionists.

In a one-hour phone conversation on Monday, the incoming Iranian president spoke with his French counterpart, Emmanuel Macron, about various topics, including the latest developments in Gaza and Lebanon, the war in Ukraine, and the ongoing negotiations to lift sanctions against Iran.

Expressing serious concern about the rising tensions along Lebanon's southern borders, Pezeshkian cautioned against any Israeli aggression towards Lebanon. He stated, "The Zionist regime would be making a significant mistake if it attacks Lebanon, which would have serious repercussions for them (Israelis)."

The Iranian president condemned the Israeli regime's actions in Gaza, including the killing of Palestinian women and children and military attacks on hospitals. He asserted that the Zionists have violated all international laws since occupying Palestine over 75 years ago.

Pezeshkian assured Macron that Iran is committed to resolving the Gaza crisis and promoting peace and stability in the region. He expressed hope that other nations would also fulfill their responsibilities in this regard.
