ALWAGHT- The Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs conveyed greetings to the Foreign Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan for Eid al-Adha.
Ali Bagheri Kani, Acting Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran, conveyed his greetings to Jeyhun Bayramov, Foreign Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan, on the occasion of Eid al-Adha. He expressed optimism that by adhering to divine teachings and through collaborative efforts, the Islamic community would witness an end to war crimes and genocide in Gaza, while further solidifying unity and solidarity.
Bagheri also sent separate congratulatory messages to Foreign Ministers of other Islamic nations on the eve of Eid al-Adha, emphasizing the opportunity this occasion presents to strengthen solidarity among Islamic countries. He underscored the collective responsibility of Islamic nations in advancing shared ideals and achieving global justice and peace.
Furthermore, in another part of his message, the Acting Foreign Minister highlighted: "While Eid al-Adha is a festive occasion across all Islamic nations, the Muslim people of occupied Palestine have endured, for over eight months, the most egregious acts of oppression, injustice, and brutal assaults by the Zionist regime, amidst silence from the international community and support from Western countries. In Gaza, residents are observing Eid prayers amid a landscape where the ruthless Zionist regime has reduced homes and mosques to rubble, leaving them in constant anticipation of martyrdom or becoming victims themselves."
