Israeli Embassy in Mexico Set Ablaze by Protesters Outraged Over Rafah Massacre

ALWAGHT- Furious demonstrators have set fire to the Israeli embassy in Mexico City to condemn the ongoing Israeli actions in Gaza, following violent clashes with law enforcement.

Pro-Palestinian demonstrators took part in the "Urgent Action for Rafah" protest, expressing their anger at the Israeli occupation embassy, which was set ablaze with Molotov cocktails. The protesters, who concealed their identities, threw stones at riot police in response to the crackdown, which included obstructing their path to the compound and using tear gas.

A confrontation with law enforcement occurred when some protesters attempted to dismantle the barriers blocking access to the diplomatic mission. Unverified reports indicated several injuries during the chaos.

On Tuesday, Mexico filed an intervention declaration in South Africa's case accusing Israel of "genocide" at the International Court of Justice.

Following the deadly bombings, Israeli Minister of Military Affairs Yoav Gallant announced on Sunday that the Israeli occupation forces will continue their military operation in Rafah.
