US Policy in Iraq: Terrorism, Division

US Policy in Iraq: Terrorism, Division
Alwaght- The US policies have resulted in deterioration of its allies trust. Some believe that the US does not have any ally; rather it has always dealt with its associates as tools to fulfill its interests. The US has lost its reputation due to its wrong policies and conflicts that are taking place within its sponsored governments. The US policy in Iraq that has been of high priority for the White House is an example of the US wrong policies towards its so-called allies. While, Washington claims that it is supporting Iraq, political experts familiar with Iraq events pint their fingers at the US government as the main reason behind Iraq's havoc.
The Iraqi situation is what we need to scrutinize, when discussing the results of and describing the facts about the US action in its foreign interactions. Perhaps all the Iraqi parties, even those who paved the way for US meddling in Iraqi domestic affairs, are now reconsidering their plans and actions. The main reason behind this is the US wrong policies. However, analyzing the events occurring in West Asia, particularly the in Iraq, allows the observers to conclude that the US is doing its best to walk out from the region with minimal losses.
Washington is no longer considered trust worthy by the Iraqis in general, specifically those who used to count on them. This can be in favor of other countries who have a significant influence, such as Russia –counter-pole to the US, and the Islamic Republic of Iran whose role in Iraq is meaningful and its influence is evident. The recent visit of the Iraqi Prime Minister, Haidar al-Abadi to Moscow and talking to the Russian President, is a clear evidence of declining American influence over Iraq. Russian officials' as well as al-Abadi's statements prove this. For instance, Lavrov confirmed Russia's readiness "to meet all the (Iraqi) needs, as possible, in order to ensure their competencies to expel ISIS and the other terrorist groups." Al-Abadi for his part stressed Iraq's confidence on Russia's role saying that, "We greatly count on our relations with Russia, and we believe that there is a future for this relation; our visit is a proof of that."
Evidences of US failure in Iraq:
Few days ago, US officials announced that the government has allocated budget to support the independence of the Kurds and the Sunnis from the Iraqi central government. Overt declaration of this decision stunned analysts while Washington was able to implement this plot clandestinely.  It is more likely that Washington has decided to legitimize the policy of division. However this action is violation of the international conventions along with the security agreement with Iraq. To achieve its goals the US is fallowing the minorities' demands whereas the majority of the Iraqis have rejected this decision.
It is noteworthy that the US current policy is not unprecedented. It has already entered Iraq through the gates of its 'loyal and strong ally' – Kurdistan region - on the guise of fighting terrorism in Iraq. The real reason behind the so-called US war on terrorism is its attempt to change the geopolitics of Syria and Iraq. The US is fighting against its handmade ISIS. Indeed, the US does not aim at annihilating ISIS; rather, it tries to provide the ground for Iraq's division. The actual reason for the US-led coalition raids is paving the ground for a military division. Beyond that point, a political division will follow, by supporting the parties who are independent on the Americans, for the sake of governing. This is what the US is trying to reach through its support for the independence of the Kurds and the Sunnis.
Finally it is important to remind that Iraq's destruction is majorly a consequence of America's actions. The current Iraqi conflict is due to the US invasion of the Arab states, and destabilizing them. A history review will prove that the US has terrorized the Iraqis long before ISIS. In fact, the Republicans were more lucent in their policies, and American military interference and its expansion in Iraq. The recent critic of Obama's policy is his former Minister of Foreign Affairs, Hilary Clinton. She criticized Obama of not using enough military force. The disappointing results of the US policies in international scene, has pushed Obama to say "after the egression from the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq, America should be cautious in its attempts in solving conflicts in the world."
