Alwaght- Syrian army attacked al-Nusra Front positions in Daraa southern province and killed or injured more than 10 of terrorists, state-run SANA news agency reported on Sunday.
A military source told SANA that army units carried out a number of bombardments against fortifications of the al-Qaeda linked terrorist group in the south of al-Manshieh neighborhood and in the surroundings of Katakit building, al-Masri roundabout and al-Sad Road and to the north of the building of Saida Carpets in Daraa al-Balad area.
The source added that more a vehicle, a mortar launcher and a rocket launcher belonging to terrorists were also destroyed.
The news came one day after Syrian army launched airstrike against ISIS terrorist group's bases near the border with Iraq.
Syrian government forces bombarded ISIS's command center near the town of Abu Kamal and a training camp in the village of Dashisha near the border.
There have been no reports on casualties among ISIS terrorists.
Al-Ekhbariya television said that the city of Raqqa, the ISIS stronghold in Syria, was struck from the air. One of the terrorists’ mobilization centers was destroyed in the strike there.
