ALWAGHT- The spokesperson for the Yemeni armed forces announced the targeting of an American destroyer.
In a statement, Yahya Saree, the spokesperson for the Yemeni armed forces, declared: To stand by the oppressed people of Palestine and retaliate against the aggressions from the United States and Britain against our nation, the Yemeni Navy targeted the American destroyer "USS Mason" with several precise missiles in the Red Sea, hitting the target accurately.
He further stated that our navy, missile force, and drone force collectively aimed at the vessel "Destiny" in the Red Sea, achieving precise hits.
Yahya Saree explained that the decision to target the ship came after it violated the directive prohibiting ships from heading towards occupied Palestine, established on April 20. Despite falsely claiming not to be bound for the port of Eilat, the ship was under our surveillance. Despite our warnings against entering the ports of occupied Palestine, it persisted in violating the directive, making it a target in our operations, devoid of the right to navigate within the operational zones of the Yemeni armed forces.
The spokesperson for the Yemeni armed forces stressed that with divine assistance and the support of the Yemeni people and all the liberated people worldwide, the Yemeni armed forces will persist in their military endeavors to aid the oppressed people of Palestine until the end of hostilities in Gaza and the lifting of the blockade on this narrow strip.
