Yemeni Army Kill 20 Saudi-Led Forces in Bab al-Mandeb Strait

Alwaght- Yemeni army backed by popular committees killed More than 20 Saudi-led coalition's forces and injured 70 others, as the Yemeni forces boosted their attempt to advance towards al-Omari military camp north of the Bab al-Mandeb Strait in Taiz province.

Citing battlefield sources, Almanar.com added the Yemeni forces bombarded a Saudi warship on Mocha coast in Taiz. 

Saudi coalition forces also were targeted at al-Omari camp on 16 November. Dozens of Saudi coalition fighters, including a senior commander, were killed in the ambush and a large number of Saudi forces were injured and their vehicles destroyed.

Almost 7,500 people have been killed over an eight month period of the unabated Saudi aggression against the impoverished Arab state of Yemen.

In a report released on last week, The Civil Coalition for Monitoring Aggression on Yemen notes that that the death toll from 255 days of the Saudi airstrikes has topped 7,495, adding that the unabated attacks have left 16,058 others injured. Most of the casualties are civilians especially women, children and the elderly.

The report noted that the illegal war inflicted damages on hundreds of important installations in the civilian infrastructure.

The monitoring coalition pointed out that Saudi warplanes have targeted, among others, 105 safe water networks, 108 power plants, 14 airports, 304 bridges, 104 road networks, 10 ports, 244 market places, 472 food warehouses, 212 gas stations, 1,231 schools and education centers, 34 universities, 844 governmental institutions, 161 workshops, 29 sport clubs, 214 health facilities and 564 mosques in all the provinces of Yemen.
