ALWAGHT- The Iranian Army's Deputy for Operations stated that the country has successfully replaced the air defense systems damaged during the recent Israeli aggression, which was supported by the United States, with new ones.
Rear Admiral Mahmoud Mousavi stated that during Israel’s 12-day attack on Iran, the country’s radar and air defense systems were among the first targets. Despite some systems being damaged, Iranian Air Defense Forces remained active and committed. With quick efforts, the damaged systems were replaced and redeployed, ensuring continued protection of Iran’s airspace.
Mousavi emphasized that Iran’s air defenses, both existing and newly installed, successfully countered the aggression, preventing the enemy from achieving its goals. He also accused the United States and NATO of supporting Israel during the conflict, calling the US complicit in the Zionist regime’s actions by providing intelligence and strategic backing.
He highlighted national unity during the crisis, noting that the Iranian people stood firmly with their military. Following Israel’s deadly assault on June 13 and US airstrikes on nuclear sites, Iran responded with precision strikes on Israeli and American targets, including the al-Udeid base in Qatar. By June 24, Iran's retaliatory operations forced an end to the offensive.
