Saudi King Gave Netanyahu $80 Million for 2015 Elections: Report

Alwaght- Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud helped finance the election campaign of Israeli regime's Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in 2015.

The revelation which comes as no surprise was made by a member of Israeli regime's Knesset (parliament) Isaac Herzog, who is the chairman of the Israeli Labor party.

Citing a massive leak of confidential documents dubbed the “Panama Papers,” Herzog, said, “In March 2015, King Salman has deposited eighty million dollars to support Netanyahu’s campaign via a Syrian-Spanish person named Mohamed Eyad Kayali.”

The Zionist lawmaker added that, “The money was deposited to a company’s account in British Virgin Islands owned by Teddy Sagi, an Israeli billionaire and businessman, who has allocated the money to fund the campaign [of] Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.”

Panama Papers exposed more than 11.5 million financial and legal records of world leaders and personalities earlier in April.

The revelations come against a backdrop of several recent reports indicating that Saudi rulers have had long-term covert contacts with the Israeli regime.

Last week Ex-Saudi spy chief Turki al-Faisal has revealed the kingdom's resolve to start all-out diplomatic ties with the Israeli regime.

Al-Faisal told Yaakov Amidror, the former major general and National Security Advisor of Israel, during a live dialogue held by Washington Institute in the United States that the "Jewish wealth and the Arab brain power" can reach numerous achievements in various fields.

Recently, a retired Saudi general has revealed that the Riyadh monarchy is ready to establish diplomatic ties with the Israeli regime in a move that will now make public the hitherto clandestine ties between the two regimes.

Anwar Eshki said that “If Netanyahu accepts the Arab Peace Initiative, we’ll open an embassy in Israel.”

Eshki, 73, is the chairman of the Jeddah-based Middle East Center for Strategic and Legal Studies and a former consultant of the Saudi prince and ambassador in the US, Bandar bin Sultan.

Ironically the Saudi monarch is known as ‘Servant of Two Holy Mosques’, (the two holiest Islamic sites in Mecca and Medina) across the world but they   maintain close ties with Israeli which occupies the third holiest Islamic site, the Al Aqsa Mosque in occupied al Quds (Jerusalem).

Reactionary Arab states such as Egypt, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and the UAE have established open and secret with the Israeli regime unmindful of its unprecedented war crimes, genocide, atrocities against Palestinians and occupation of Palestinian territories especially the third holiest Islamic site, the al-Aqsa Mosque.
