Alwaght- A sniper unit of the Yemeni Army and Popular Committees has shot dead eight Saudi troops.
According to Yemen's official news agency, Saba, the troops serving in the Saudi army were killed in Saturday in al-Tuwal-Harad border of Hajjah province.
Meanwhile Yemeni Army missile force pounded several military sites in Jizan border, including al-Ma'atan site with eight rockets, the official said.
The missile forces also launched a home-made rocket called al-Sarkhah al-Khubah site in Jizan along the Saudi-Yemeni border.
Meanwhile, on Saturday,Yemen's army and popular committees pounded invader gatherings in the Republican Palace in Mareb city.
A military official said the missile force launched a missile on the Palace, affirming the missile hit the target accurately, a military official said.
A number of hirelings were killed in the attack, including prominent leaders as "Mohsen Saleh Shutaif" and another leader called "al-Harethi", he added.
A huge fire broke out in the palace and a number of military vehicles were destroyed, he said.
The Saudi regime and its allies began a military aggression against Yemen – without a UN mandate – on March 26 to stop advances of the Ansarullah movement which is backed by the country’s army and Popular Committees. The Saudi regime intends to restore fugitive former Yemeni president Abd Rabbuh Mansur Hadi to power. The Yemeni army and popular committees have been carrying out retaliatory attacks against the agressors.
At least 7,600 have been killed in the Saudi led aggression on Yemen. Most of the casualties are civilians especially women, children and the elderly.
The illegal war inflicted damages on hundreds of important installations in the civilian infrastructure.
